We are a dedicated team of Scientists, Technology and Business Experts based in Amsterdam.

Most research assets are unavailable to the wider scientific community. This has consequences for the individual progress of a Scientist, but also on overall scientific development.

The European Commission and the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine are calling for Science to be more open access.

The funding bodies in EU, US, and Australia require Scientists to outline the data management plan and, sometimes, data-sharing actions in their research proposals.

FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable) data management standards are being widely adopted.

However, open-access databases do not incentify scientists enough to share their data – only 15% of Scientists share data in a data repository. Most (>80%) share with direct collaborators using direct person-person tools. The trust is an important factor for Scientists to share their data.

The underlying question remains: How can we ensure and control wide adoption of FAIR principles among scientists?

ScientiCore understands and values the work put into creating the data. We strongly believe in the recycling power of data with Scientist’s interest at the core.
